Connor MacManus is the elder of the brothers in The Boondock Saints. I love this movie. When my husband gave me one of their rosaries for my birthday last year, I realized that I could easily do them now. I’m going for Connor because I have a wig that will work for him better than Murphy.
Stargate: SG-1 is one of the best sci-fi shows ever. It’s also quite easy to recreate the uniforms from since they used actual uniform pieces. I am picking away at creating a SG-13 Woodland uniform and a Daniel Jackson Woodland uniform. It really came about because I keep inheriting old uniform pieces from a friend.

I have decided to move this cosplay up to this year and do the blue suit next year. I’ve realized that I’ve put off ordering the blue suit for so long that I’ll be lucky to get it in time. This is the outfit the Tenth Doctor wore during his first episode, The Christmas Invasion.
A few years ago I put together a Kaylee Frye cosplay. I didn’t really go for any one specific look. But it’s definitely Kaylee.
Last year I threw together a Jane Lane costume a couple of weeks before Dragon*Con. This year I’ve decided to add one more thing. The glue gun. It just looks like fun!
The Tenth Doctor is my Doctor. From the first moment I saw that blue suit, I wanted to cosplay in that suit. Thankfully there are wonderful people out there who make the fabric and the suit. I’m going for The Silence in the Library/Forrest of the Dead look partially because it’s easier to do and partially because I love those episodes!
The Dresden Files is my favorite book series. So naturally I’m working on Harry Dresden This is actually the cover of the first graphic novel. But there’s a reason I’m using it and not the book covers is because all of the books have Harry wearing a hat. He never wears a hat! The author, Jim Butcher, actually makes a joke in Changes about that.
Right now I am working on a variation on this outfit of Miho’s. All I have left to do is get the ribbon done on the wig.
